Reading Recommendations For You on Twitter

Below are links to my recommendations for reading on the subject of Twitter. Some are Free e-books others you might have to go to a store, regardless, if I didn’t like it or didn’t get anything from it, I won’t recommend it.

A Geek’s Guide To Promoting Yourself and Your Online Business in 140 Characters or Less With Twitter by GeekPreneur -

This book is a free e-book download available on their site. It was a very good overview on the power of twitter and actually gives some good tips on tweeting.  It’s not like many of the others out there as far as getting into the nitty-gritty of setting up an account, but more on the power and suggestions on how to use it. I myself was able to pull a couple of really good nuggets from it and at only 48 pages it won’t take up a lot of your time. Get your copy Here. I will also add that this book is available without capturing any information from you.  They have also published a book and it’s available on Amazon “The 99 Ways to Make Money With Twitter” – I have not read this book yet, so won’t comment on it’s validity, but if it’s anything like the free e-book, I’m sure it’s worth it. It’s priced at $34.95 for paperback and $19.99 for the Kindle Version. If you read it let me know what you think.

Google Switch Report – David Schwind and Jim Yaghi

This particular ebook/report is more of a promotion of their new system for gaining leads, however, they give a lot of great tips on how they use social media.  In the Twitter section that last section they put forth a very strong calling for the quality of quantity view point, and I have to say I think I agree with them here. They also offer up their swipe file of tested emails for the tactics outlined in the report.  The catch is you have to find 3 people to download the report. Now I already have my 3, there is no gain of myself by promoting this product other than I think the information they offer is sound.  Download your copy of the report here.

Leave comments below and tell me what you thought of the books. Agreed or disagreed, we’re all in this together trying to find the best way.
