Adapt and Overcome
My name is John Woodman and I am an entrepreneur and Internet marketer. This choice of profession allows me to live in Hawaii, a place I love. No one else tells me what to do with my day. I make my own choices about my daily activities and take ownership of the results. I am living the life I always wanted to live.
My Journey
I spent 17 years in the United States Navy. Much of that time I was responsible for mentoring my subordinates, teaching them to rise to the occasion, to adapt and overcome, to live up to their potentials and to see things in a positive light.
Over the years, I’d also noticed that many people were disillusioned with their lives. They hadn’t succeeded in making their childhood dreams reality. Some even felt that achieving these dreams was no longer possible.
After my military career, I decided that I didn’t want to work for someone else. I saw myself as a leader and couldn’t envision starting a new career from the bottom up. The economy was in a downturn and most companies were offering only entry-level jobs and wages, regardless of experience. I must admit to having my own doubts during this time.
Nevertheless, I decided to go into business for myself. I did this, in part, to prove to myself that it was possible for me to succeed in business. I also wanted to be in control of my own fate. I wanted to live the life I’d always dreamed of, and I wanted to help others pursue their own dreams.
I began looking for like-minded individuals and companies that I believed would help me reach my goals. I wanted to work with companies that taught, inspired and empowered people to reach their personal goals. I wasn’t looking for the best compensation plan, because it’s not always about the money. I also wanted to help others help themselves.
“To have something you’ve never had before, you must do something you’ve never done before.” ~John Jackson
Reaching this goal was not easy. I entered an entirely new world, moving from a very structured military life, to a life where I was only responsible and accountable to myself. I needed to learn new skill sets and grow as both a person and a leader. I knew that developing these qualities would be a never-ending task. I knew that achieving success would take work, determination and will power. I knew that it would be impossible to do these things in the traditional way. I had to adapt and overcome.
I Want to Help You
During my search, I found a number of wonderful people and legitimate organizations with which to associate. These people and organizations have shown me the way to a life of success and abundance. Now, I want to help you, as others have helped me. I can introduce you to people whose only interest is in helping you succeed.
Think about your life and your goals. You may want more time with your family, a dream house, a better car or the ability to vacation in exotic places. Whatever you want in life, will require that you do something different. You can’t keep doing what you have done before and expect the results to be different.
“To keep doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results is the definition of insanity.” ~Albert Einstein
I don’t believe in get rich schemes and I don’t work with those who expect overnight success. Achieving your goals will be hard work. It will take time to set a solid foundation. Your thirst for knowledge, willingness to better yourself, and a desire to help others are the only prerequisites. If you follow through and refuse to give up, you can’t fail.
I’ll share the best opportunities I’ve found with you. I don’t claim to have all the answers, and I’m willing to work with you to find them. I’ll guide you and mentor you, however I won’t do the work for you. Your desire and determination to do the necessary work is essential to your success.
Money is important, but this journey is not all about the money. It’s about dreams. Most people have not achieved their childhood dreams, and some of these dreams may not have been realistic. However, most dreams are achievable – you can have the life you desire. It is possible.
My time is precious and I only work with those who are serious about making changes in their lives. Also, I only have the time to work with only five new people each week. These opportunities and this type of work are not for everyone. Those who succeed must be self-starters who hold themselves accountable for their own successes and failures.
Are you ready to adapt and overcome? If you are ready to make a difference in your life – if you are serious about changing your life and want to work with me – fill out the form below. We will begin by discussing what is best for you and move on from there.
Lastly, so you are aware. Working with me is a four step process. The first step is to first see if we’re going to get along. There’s no reason for us to work together if we’re not going to be a good fit for each other. The second step will be to find out what it is you are looking for. Next, we will discuss what I have available that fits into what you are looking for. Finally, we will decide to move forward with what is best for you.
Make It Your Own
When it comes to life and business – whether you work for yourself or others – it’s all the same. You can learn from others and you can imitate others. Until you take ownership of your decisions and actions, you will be chasing success instead of achieving it.
This is something I struggled with, personally. One expert would give advice and I would follow it to the letter. Then another expert would come along and contradict what the first had said, and I would change my tactics to match the new advice. Then, I’d occasionally change tactics again and go back in the original direction. Around and around I went, in a myriad of circles – always aspiring, but never succeeding.
Finally, I realized that each expert was sharing his own individual path to success, and that none of the experts were successful until he or she took ownership of that path. Taking ownership was the determining factor that made each expert stand out in the midst of the crowd.

Singing Karaoke
I’ve had quite a few inquiries on my karaoke singing, so below is a video from the June 2009 Hawaii Chinese Association’s 21st Annual Karaoke competition in which I took the People’s Choice Award. Enjoy!
Events, People, Places

Greg McMahon and I in Vegas 2009 after one of our marketing events. Greg looks really happy, because he had just won a house a couple of days before.

Here’s Jay Kubassek and I in Boca Raton, Florida, March 2010. It was an amazing life changing 5 day event. Very much looking forward to all future events. Jay is a great guy with a heart of gold and a mission to help so many others. It’s not all about him and he really expresses that.

Hi John:
I think Greg McMahon is so good in his youtube’s didn’t know the 2 of you were friends. I was reading the info about you, but since it is now almost 4 am will continue later after I get some sleep. I know, the “big” guys like Donald Trump say they only need 4 hours…….
I am looking forward to learning more about you.

Greg’s actually my sponsor and I met him the first time in Vegas there. He’s a great guy. As for the sleep, not sure if that’s a health thing or certain people are just wired different. I can operate on 4, but it’s not effective.
Looking forward to getting to know you better as well.

Hi John I was fortunate to come across your tutorials on CFMembership where I to am a member. My partner Alex and I have 5 sites set up. She has the tecky savvy and is teaching me stuff. I put your site on my desktop and want to learn more from your tutorials. I love WordPress and our sites are all WP.orgs. I am applying the twitter system that you teach in your videos. I loved reading your vision and you read like a man with a HUGE heart and that’s an important thing to me. I believe in the theory of giving more than receiving, because the receiving takes care of itself, when you live by the philosphy of giving. I intend on following you and look forward to any critiques you can offer on my site at doing sixty and my partners sites Silvergenes Tribe. By the way I didn’t understand a word you were singing, but congratulations on winning the awards. It sounded like a love song:0) bye for now.

Hi Ken,
Glad we are of like minds and thank you so much for the kind words.
As for the singing, yes it’s kind of a love song, but I changed up the lyrics a little bit in the second verse and that’s what caused such an audience reaction. I spent 10 years as a Chinese Translator and often had fun singing and learning some of the songs. Feel free to contact me anytime if you have any questions. Some of the videos I do need to redo as a couple of things are out of date and no longer available even though I did those not even 6 months ago. Things change so fast nowadays.
